      Aliyah and Integration

In the 1990s, a large number of immigrants arrived in Haifa, following the docking of many ships in the city. As a result, about one hundred thousand immigrants from the former Soviet Union settled in the city.

Due to the massive wave of immigration, the need arose to establish an organization that would coordinate all the activities related to absorbing this large influx of immigrants, and thus, the Haifa Association for Immigrants Absorption was established.

The main goal of the Haifa Association for Immigrants Absorption is to coordinate the integration of immigrants in the city among the various institutions and organizations involved in absorbing new immigrants.
