At the request of the Haifa Municipality, the Home Front Command will install additional warning systems throughout the city.
The Haifa Municipality has reached an agreement with the Home Front Command for the prompt installation of additional alert system devices in various parts of the city to enhance its effectiveness.
The decision to install the devices was made after the municipality’s request to expand the system’s coverage, especially in areas where residents had complained about insufficient audibility of warning signals.
These complaints were reviewed and deemed justified by Home Front Command officers. Haifa Mayor Yona Yahav noted: “The installation of new warning system devices will improve its operation and ensure timely notification of all residents about emergencies in real time.”
