On November 6 at the Rappoport Hall there was a meeting with military journalist, correspondent, and writer Sergey Auslender — an event that became one of the most notable cultural highlights of the autumn in Haifa.The event was sold out a week before it took place, but the flow of those wishing to attend did not stop — people came directly to the hall, and the organizing team did everything possible so that everyone could hear and see this evening. Sergey himself admitted that he had never performed in front of such a large audience before.
There was a sense of attention, energy, and a rare feeling of community in the air — an honest conversation, lively interest, and the realization that Haifa is truly becoming a center of intellectual and public life for the new Israelis.
The FACES project, with the support of the Haifa Association for Immigrants Absorption and city council member, chairman of the Association for Immigrants Absorption Kirill Karetnik, once again united people around what matters — dialogue, thought, participation.
