Choose the most secure space according to the time you have from the moment the siren is activated (60 seconds) in the following order of preference:
- A safe room in the apartment (“mamad”) or on the floor (“mamak”): this is the preferred option, you must enter immediately, and close the windows and doors.
- A bomb shelter: A bomb shelter in a multi-apartment residential building – provided that it is internal, located within the building, and can be accessed via internal stairways, regardless of the time the alarm is triggered.
- A public bomb shelter – provided that it can be accessed within the specified time (60 seconds) from the moment the alarm is triggered. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury from shrapnel and metal balls as a result of the explosion.
