The Haifa Association for Immigrants Absorption held an information event for immigrants who arrived in the last 3-6 months, providing important information about summer holidays.Among the participants were representatives from various institutions: banks, health funds, boarding schools, registration for city tours, the registration and information station for the “Bar Mitzvah” project, summer camps, and various other activities.Kirill Karetnik, Chairman of the Haifa Association for Immigrants Absorption and a member of the Haifa City Council, said: “I intend to make all city activities accessible to new immigrants. Sometimes, due to language barriers, important information does not reach the immigrants. We are actively working on improving the accessibility of information for new citizens.”
The event was held in the lobby of the renovated “Migdal Armon” building on Nevi’im Street and included a performance by singer Artem Djigit, workshops for children, and concluded with a raffle of school supplies among the children.
