Recently, the annual repatriation fair took place in Paris, which became a major event for everyone interested in life in Israel. This year, the event broke its own records: about 2,600 people—600 more than last year—attended the fair to learn about repatriation opportunities. Among them were students, families with children, parents of conscripts, and retirees looking for a new home in Israel.
Haifa at the Fair in Paris: A City that Inspires
The spotlight of the fair was on Haifa—a city that offers not only housing and work but also real support for every immigrant. Representatives from the Integration Authority in Haifa actively shared information about the city’s opportunities. Rivka Barbie, the curator for French-speaking immigrants, shared her impression:
“Haifa is a city that welcomes with warmth and understanding. It has everything for a comfortable life: excellent schools, affordable housing, jobs for professionals, and a caring community ready to help at every stage of integration.”
Rivka noted that the unique atmosphere of Haifa is not just words. At the fair, dozens of families, students, and retirees approached Haifa’s booth to learn more about the city, which is ready to become their new home.
A Message from Kirill Karetnik: “We Are Ready to Help Every Immigrant”
Kirill Karetnik, head of the Haifa Association for Immigrants Absorption, emphasized the importance of the fair in Paris:
“Repatriation from France is not just a statistic. These are the stories of people, families, who are looking for a new beginning. Haifa is ready to be part of their journey, to help at every step, and to make the transition as smooth and pleasant as possible. We see this as our national and human mission.”
Karetnik also shared future plans:
“We will continue to participate in similar fairs, whether in France, England, or America. Our goal is to show people that Haifa is a place where they are welcome, where they can not only find a home but also become part of something bigger.”
Why Haifa?
Haifa is a city where traditions blend with innovation, where respect for each culture combines with the spirit of modernity. It is a city where children receive the best education, and professionals find themselves in prestigious companies. Here, there are seas, mountains, and a unique community ready to support every immigrant.
Inspiration and Success
The repatriation fair in Paris became not just an event but a symbol of hope and inspiration. Thanks to cooperation with the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the Jewish Agency, and other partners, Haifa has firmly established its place on the map of Israel as one of the most attractive cities for immigrants.
Each of us is part of something bigger. And Haifa is happy to become a new home for everyone looking for support, warmth, and opportunities for growth.
Haifa is waiting for you. Welcome home!
