Following the morning meeting at the Municipal Crisis Center in preparation for Yom Kippur:
- The Home Front Command has updated the guidelines for Haifa residents: gatherings of up to 350 people are now permitted indoors, and up to 150 people outdoors. We urge you to strictly follow these guidelines for your safety.
- During the holiday, the “Quiet Line” will be broadcast on frequencies 107.5 and 99.5 FM. Stay tuned for updates to keep informed about the situation.
- The police will set up checkpoints at the entrances and exits of the city. Additional forces, including municipal oversight, will patrol Haifa’s neighborhoods and main roads to ensure safety.
- An important message to parents: Please closely watch your children during the holiday. Your presence near them is especially important in the current situation.
- Be vigilant and ready for any changes. Following the Home Front Command’s guidelines saves lives.
