Issuance of a Temporary Teudat Zehut

To apply for a temporary Teudat Zehut at the Ministry of Interior in Haifa, you need to provide the following documents and their copies:

1. Birth certificate for each family member (originals and copies).
2. Marriage or divorce certificates (originals and copies).
3. All documents confirming ancestry (originals and copies).
4. Foreign passport — original and copies, as well as a copy of the entry visa to Israel.
5. Teudat Oleh.
6. Documents received at the airport.
7. Two passport photos for each family member (for the temporary identity card issued on-site).

If the family did not arrive in full (for example, a spouse with Jewish roots could not come at this time), you need to prepare documents and copies: the spouse’s birth certificate and the birth certificates of their parents on the Jewish side, marriage certificate, and children’s birth certificates.
