According to the municipality, the initiative to open the new cafes and restaurant is part of its vision to restore, develop, and revitalize significant urban centers while strengthening the connection between the community, public spaces, and local history.
The first tender relates to the Avner Cafe in the center of the Kiryat Eliezer promenade. The municipality notes that it will be connected to the municipal library building and the community center, which also serves as a chess center.
The second tender is for the operation of Cafe Binyamin in Hadar, which will open in a preserved building that was constructed about 90 years ago in the historic Gan Binyamin and was recently restored by the municipality. The garden includes an open-air theater, a large playground, and an activity center for young families, which is expected to open soon.
The third tender is for the Allenby Restaurant/Cafe in the marine sports center in Bat Galim, offering a panoramic sea view. The center is located in the lower part of the promenade at the western entrance of Bat Galim.
