Friends, today we endured another enemy attack. More than one hundred missiles were launched at our city.
Many buildings were damaged in Kiryat. Thanks to the Iron Dome, there were no casualties. Many of us are now experiencing pain, fear, and anxiety.
But we are a people who survived against all odds. Despite all the persecutions, threats, the Holocaust, and pogroms. Were our ancestors, our grandparents, afraid? They were, but they did not kneel and did not surrender.
Let us stand together, worthy of their memory and the memory of those whose lives were taken on October 7. Today, as a reminder of the unity of the Jewish people, the Haifa Association for Immigrants Absorption raises the flag of Israel.
