Update for Saturday (28.09.2024) on the results of the Crisis Management Center meeting.

    28/09/2024
Here is a brief summary of the meeting held this evening, chaired by Mayor Yona Yahav, with the participation of municipal leadership and emergency services representatives:

    1. Haifa’s education system will continue to operate remotely tomorrow.
    2. There are 8 temporary childcare groups in Haifa for the children of healthcare workers, emergency services, and municipal employees.
    3. On Wednesday, October 6th, on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, many will visit synagogues. No more than 150 people are allowed in enclosed spaces. The municipality requests compliance with this rule for safety reasons.
    4. We urge vigilance. In case of rocket falls, avoid these areas and do not block the paths.
    5. It is forbidden to photograph interceptions or disseminate information about the locations of falls. Report any suspicions of rocket or debris falls to the police by dialing 100.
    6. In case of an alert, you must take shelter in a safe place within a minute and remain there for 10 minutes. Do not go outside or take photos — it is dangerous.
