Update for Wednesday (25.09.2024) on the results of the Crisis Management Center meeting.

    25/09/2024
This morning (Wednesday), a situation assessment was conducted at the city Crisis Management Center under the leadership of Mayor Yona Yahav, with the participation of municipal leadership and representatives of emergency services. The city’s high level of preparedness is confirmed.

    • The Haifa Marathon, which was scheduled for November 8, has been rescheduled to November 29.
    • The educational system in Haifa continues to operate in an online format with a very high level of student participation.
    • Eight temporary educational groups are still operating throughout the city for the children of municipal employees, healthcare workers, and emergency services personnel.
    • Residents are asked to remain vigilant. In the event of rocket fire, avoid the sites of incidents and do not create mass gatherings, nor block access routes.
    • It is prohibited to photograph interceptions and share information about impact locations. If there is suspicion of falling rockets or debris, immediately report to the police at number 100.
    • In case of an alert, you must take shelter in the most protected room within one minute and remain there for at least 10 minutes. It is dangerous to go outside and take photographs during an alert — it poses a threat to life.
