The head of the National Authority for Community Security, Ronit Ovadia, her deputy, and the Coastal District Manager visited Haifa and met with the Mayor of the city, Yona Yahav, and City Council member Kirill Karetnik, who is the municipal commissioner for community security, along with his team.
The meeting presented the extensive activities of the Community Security Authority in the city and the existing challenges for continued joint efforts to improve personal and community security in the city.
Kirill Karetnik proposed innovative ideas to enhance the public awareness system regarding the dangers of drugs and alcohol, as well as the hazards of foam gases.
Additionally, in collaboration with the police, additional patrols in the Hadar area and checkpoints at the seaside on weekends were approved.
